Wooden heart

I watched the forest;
Never saw the wood
For the trees though,
But I never could.
I always found
People to be
More wooden
Than vibrant trees.

    As ever, your take on human nature is spot on. If only society could be so bold as to sway as the trees sway. Perhaps then, acceptance for the beauty in all could be. Excellent my poetic friend. It is good to see a post from you. ~Pamela
